Typhoon Chanthu (locally Kiko), the 14th named storm of the 2021 Pacific typhoon season, has caused agricultural damages as it moved over the northern edge of Luzon. It made one landfall within the PAR which occurred in the vicinity of Batan and Sabtang Islands in Batanes Province on Sep 11, 2021, leaving no casualties and a total of Php 37.35M worth of reported damages entirely pertaining to agriculture.
